The worst hotel I ever seen food is terrible rotten food the y have serve hotels rooms are flitthy and stingy . I never suggest anyone to visit this hotel. Worst experience ever and never visited this.

The property is just adjacent to Bhimtal lake ( tallital) and view from here is simply awesome, specially when must is floating in the air. The property is also very big, with normal rooms, duplex type rooms, cottages and places to pitch tents. However these are not in the best of condition and require maintenance. It is best for student groups etc, or one night stay if you don't have anywhere else to go as the rates are reasonable. The owner and staff are helpful. Food is just okay.

Amazing to have Shikara ride in the Tallital having 175 feet depth. Amazing cool experience of staying in cottage first time of Van Vilas & ultimate to have cool breath of lake. A very relaxing feeling comes when you come out of your cottage in the morning and experience nature. A MUST VISIT PLACE.

Me and my father stayed here a couple of weeks ago while on our way to Almora as we were tired and needed a place to crash for the night. Pros - Its located on the main road and easily approachable. Parking is decent for 3-4 cars. Great view of the lake. Its at a good height so you can see the whole lake from the resort. The food was good, we had dal, chilly chicken, kali mirch chicken etc and everything was great. Staff specially the waiters are friendly. Cons - The rooms/cottages are shabby and small. The furniture is ancient. Chairs tables are old and broken. The wall fan made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. Service is extremely slow. The food took hours to reach our table. You have to order well in advance. The whole resort needs a makeover. Will probably lool for some other option next time.
